Brush or sweep sidewalk or driveway, instead of using water for cleaning
Why
Washing your sidewalk or driveway with a hose can use 200 or more litres of water. If you use a pressure washer, you are also using electricity and creating noise.
How
Most of the debris that is on your driveway or sidewalk is organic, and can go on your lawn or garden. Simply sweep your lawn or driveway onto your lawn. If there is a lot of organic debris (e.g., leaves), gather it up and put it into your compost or around your plants.
