Use cloth napkins, and dishcloths instead of paper napkins and paper towel


As well as making your restaurant or dining room seem classier, you reduce the energy, water, and raw materials used to produce the disposable products.  And yes, even though you have to wash the cloth napkins and dishcloths, there is still a net savings in energy and water.


Dark colored napkins look great against a white table cloth, and don’t show small stains.

Keep the dishcloths more accessable to staff than the paper towels. We often use what is easiest to reach for.
