Choose an ENERGY STAR® qualified washing machine

Why

Natural Resources Canada states that ENERGY STAR® qualified washing machines use 25% less energy and 33% less water on average than conventional machines.  Since they spin the clothes faster, the clothes are drier coming out of the machine.  That saves energy in your dryer, or time on your clothes rack.
