Renewable Rides Solar Array
126 solar panels, with 37.8 kilowatts of generation capacity, have been installed to power new electric vehicles on the roads in Saskatoon. The solar array, on the roof of a new sustainable housing development, Radiance Cohousing (475 Avenue L South), is part of an innovative program in which the Saskatchewan Environmental Society has brought 100% solar-powered electric vehicles to the Saskatoon CarShare Co-operative’s fleet.
